U2 to Take Over Conan O'Brien's Show

Late Night With Conan O'Brien is getting ready to turn its entire hour over to Irish rockers U2.

The late NBC talk show will feature Bono and crew Thursday night as its sole guests, chatting with host Conan O'Brien and of course, offering up a song or two, Zap2it.com reported Tuesday.

U2 plays the first of seven sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden Friday.

Thursday will mark the first time Late Night With Conan O'Brien will spend an entire hour with only one guest.

Mick: No Stones Rift

Mick Jagger has denied reports of a rift within the Rolling Stones allegedly caused by his girlfriend L'Wren Scott.

The Stones frontman took the unusual step of issuing a statement rejecting recent claims in which his partner of four years was said to have criticized the style of the band.

L'Wren, 38, allegedly tried to make Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards give up smoking and questioned their choice of clothing.

Jagger, 62, said: "It is completely untrue to say that L'Wren has caused a rift between myself and the rest of the band. This is all nonsense and very hurtful for her."
